Marketing for contractors and home-service businesses: Google Ads, websites and leads to your phone

We help contractors get calls and booked estimates from channels they own: Google Ads for the jobs people search for, Facebook and Instagram ads that show your real work, a fast website and a CRM that sends every lead to your phone with its source. Every month you see what one lead costs.

Budgets from US$1,000 a month. Ad spend is paid to Google or Meta directly.

Your leads, your data. The CRM runs on your own domain, not inside a marketplace.
Calls and forms counted. Every tap on your number and every form request is tracked with its campaign.

The goal

What contractors actually need

Lead generation for contractors is about calls and booked estimates, not traffic. Clicks and impressions only matter when they turn into jobs on your calendar.

A common problem isn’t the ads themselves. It’s that nobody can say which ad brought which job, so the budget keeps going to whatever looks busy. That’s why we build the whole path, not only the campaigns:

  • Ads for the jobs you want, in the area your crews actually cover.
  • A fast website or landing page that turns a click into a call or a request.
  • Tracking that counts call taps, forms and messages as leads, with consent where the law asks for it.
  • A CRM on your domain where every lead keeps its source, status and job value.
  • Lead alerts in Telegram or by email in about a minute, with status buttons from “Contacted” to the estimate and the result.

Together this is our lead system: every lead is visible with its source, and the monthly report shows what each one costs.

Website

Contractor website design

A contractor site has one job: turn a visit into a call or an estimate request.

  • A page for each service you want to sell, with photos of your real projects instead of stock images.
  • A 30-second request form and a call button always at hand on a phone.
  • Spam filtering without a captcha, so homeowners have nothing to solve.
  • No WordPress plugins to patch: light pages that load fast on a phone.
  • Leads straight to your CRM and to Telegram or email, together with their source.

Already have a site on WordPress, Wix or Squarespace? We can connect it to the system or move it to our stack. The details are on the small business website design page.

Search and maps

SEO and Google Business Profile for contractors

Organic search and Google Maps bring leads you don’t pay per click for, whether it’s SEO for roofers, plumbers or remodelers. But they grow over weeks and months, not days.

  • Google Business Profile: the right categories, your service area, photos of your work and reviews.
  • Service and area pages on your site that answer what homeowners ask before they call.
  • Structured data and FAQs for Google, plus a file for ChatGPT and other AI assistants (llms.txt).

We don’t promise rankings or a spot in the map pack. We build the technical base right away and track the calls and requests that come from search, the same way as the ones from ads.

Meta Ads

Facebook and Instagram ads for contractors

Meta ads reach homeowners before they start searching. That works well for jobs you can show: remodels, roofs, decks and yards.

  • Real jobs, not stock: photos and video of your projects, with a voice-over that explains the offer.
  • Targeting by area: the cities and the radius you serve.
  • Lead forms or your site: a form inside Facebook or Instagram is quick to fill in, while your site tells people more before they call.
  • Meta Pixel and Conversions API, so Meta learns from real leads and one lead isn’t counted twice.

In our remodeling case in Warsaw, Poland, the ads were videos with a voice-over and banners for the city and its suburbs, and the first lead came on the second day of the campaign. More on the Facebook and Instagram ads page.

Comparison

Your own leads vs lead marketplaces

Marketplaces such as Angi and Thumbtack in the US or HomeStars in Canada already have homeowners and traffic. Your own channel takes longer to set up, but the leads and the data stay yours.

You don’t have to choose one. If you use a marketplace, add its leads to the CRM by hand and compare the cost per booked job with your own channels, side by side.

Trades

Trades we work with

The system is the same for every trade; only the keywords, the season and the offer change. Our published case comes from renovation, and we don’t claim results in other trades that we can’t show.

Remodeling and renovation

Kitchens, bathrooms, basements and whole homes. Remodeling marketing is closest to our real case: a renovation company in Warsaw, Poland.

Roofing

Repair and replacement searches, often urgent after a storm. Search ads and a clear request form come first.

HVAC

Heating and cooling repairs follow the weather, so the campaigns and the budget follow the season.

Plumbing

Many plumbing searches can’t wait, so the call button and a page that opens fast on a phone matter most.

Landscaping

Work that looks good in photos and video, with campaigns timed for spring and fall.

Other home services

Cleaning, painting, flooring, windows and doors: the same ads, site and CRM, set up for your offer.

Questions

Contractor marketing: common questions

Didn’t find your answer? Ask in the form or on the contact page.

How do contractors get more leads without buying them from marketplaces?

By running their own channels: Google search ads for the jobs people search for, a Google Business Profile, a fast site with a short form and a call button, and Facebook or Instagram ads with photos of real jobs. Each lead lands in your CRM with its source, so you can see which channel brings booked estimates and what each lead costs.

Google Ads or SEO: which is better for a contractor?

They do different jobs. Google Ads can bring calls within days of the launch, and you pay for every click. SEO and your Google Business Profile bring leads you don’t pay per click for, but they grow over weeks and months. We usually start with Google Ads and build SEO alongside it, so that more of your leads come without a cost per click over time.

How much should a contractor spend on ads per month?

It depends on your trade, your area and how many jobs you can take on. We take on projects with a marketing budget from US$1,000 a month, and you pay the ad spend to Google or Meta directly. Before the launch we show a forecast for your keywords and area. After the first weeks, the real cost per lead shows where to add budget.

Do you work with roofers, HVAC companies, plumbers and remodelers?

Yes. The system is built for them: search ads for urgent and planned jobs, a fast site, call and form tracking, and a CRM with lead alerts. Our published case is a renovation company in Warsaw, Poland. We have no published case studies for US or Canadian contractors yet, and we don’t show results we can’t confirm.

Do you work with contractors in Canada?

Yes. We target your city, province and postal codes and use Canadian wording, such as renovation instead of remodeling. Google and Meta can bill you in CAD, while our prices are in US dollars. The campaigns are in English. We don’t run French campaigns, so if your customers expect French, we tell you before the start.

Who owns the leads and the data?

You do. The CRM runs on your domain and your hosting, so the leads, their sources and their statuses stay with you. The ad accounts, GA4 and the site are in your name too, and we work with the access you grant. If we stop working together, everything stays yours.
