ChatGPT, TikTok, Telegram and Microsoft (Bing) ads for small businesses
Besides Google Ads and Meta ads, we run ads in ChatGPT, TikTok, Telegram and Microsoft Advertising (Bing) for small businesses in the US and Canada. We start with a test budget, track every lead and keep the channels that bring customers at a price that works. Then we run them like the main ones: weekly optimization and a monthly report.
Budgets from US$1,000 a month. Ad spend is paid to each platform directly.
- Google Ads52$10.40
- Meta Ads39$12.90

Which channel fits your business
A new channel makes sense when your customers are there and the format suits your offer. The platform facts on this page are as of October 2026.
| Channel | Where the ad appears | Who it suits | What it needs | In the US and Canada |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT | Inside ChatGPT conversations, labeled as an ad and kept apart from the answer | Services and products people ask an assistant about | A clear offer and a page that answers that kind of question | We have run campaigns in both countries |
| TikTok | In the For You feed, as boosted posts and with lead forms | Visual services and products you can show in 15 to 30 seconds | Vertical 9:16 videos | Only from an ad account registered to your US or Canadian business |
| Telegram | In public channels, and for some accounts in bots and search | Audiences that live in Telegram, mostly communities that speak Ukrainian or Russian | A channel or a bot that answers and passes the lead on | Targeted by country, language and channel |
| Microsoft Bing | Bing search, partner sites such as Yahoo, AOL and DuckDuckGo, and Copilot | Businesses whose Google search ads already bring leads | Working Google Ads campaigns, the UET tag and a verified advertiser | Search campaigns for your city, state or province |
ChatGPT ads
Ads in ChatGPT appear inside conversations, labeled as advertising and kept separate from the answer. OpenAI says advertisers don’t see users’ conversations. We have run ChatGPT campaigns in the US and Canada.
- Targeting: the topics of the conversation, set as hints for each ad group; the country, and in the US also the state, DMA or ZIP code; and the platform: the iOS app, the Android app or the web.
- No targeting by age, gender or interests, and no retargeting. Custom audiences need very large customer lists, so they rarely suit a small business.
- Accounts identified as belonging to minors see no ads.
- Billing:
per click, or bidding for conversions. There is a pixel and a server-side conversions API. - Reporting is thin: there is no report of the conversations or questions behind a click, so our own tracking in GA4 and the CRM shows whether the channel brings leads.
It suits services and products people ask an assistant about, for example “which contractor should I hire for a bathroom remodel”. The page the ad leads to has to answer that question well.
TikTok ads
Vertical videos in the For You feed, for offers you can show in 15 to 30 seconds. Without video, TikTok doesn’t work.
- Formats: video ads in the feed, boosted organic posts (Spark Ads) and lead forms inside TikTok.
- Targeting: location, age, gender, interests and behavior, custom audiences and lookalikes.
- Measurement: the TikTok Pixel and the Events API.
- The ad account must be registered to your US or Canadian business. The registration country decides which countries an account can target, and it can’t be changed later. We checked this with an account registered in Poland: it can’t target the US or Canada. The account is yours, and we manage it with the access you grant.
We plan the scripts with you or adapt videos that already work in Reels, so one shoot can serve Facebook and Instagram ads and TikTok.
Microsoft Advertising (Bing)
Search ads on Bing and on Microsoft’s search partner sites, such as Yahoo, AOL and DuckDuckGo, and in Microsoft Copilot: searches that Google doesn’t cover.
- Import from Google Ads: campaigns can be imported, so a working Google search setup is the starting point. How we run it is on the Google Ads management page.
- The UET tag: conversions need Microsoft’s own tag, because they don’t carry over from Google’s tags. The UET tag supports consent.
- A verified advertiser: Microsoft verifies the advertiser’s identity before ads run.
It fits contractors and other local services whose Google search ads already bring calls, and who want more of the same kind of searches.
Telegram Ads
In North America, Telegram Ads mostly suit communities that speak Ukrainian or Russian, and other audiences that read Telegram every day.
- Format: the official platform (ads.telegram.org) shows short sponsored messages of up to 160 characters in public channels, and for some accounts also in bots and in Telegram search.
- Targeting: specific channels, channel topics, language and country.
- Pricing:
the price is set per thousand views (CPM), and the self-serve account is paid in TON, the cryptocurrency used by Telegram. - Moderation is strict, so we plan the texts with that in mind.
How we test, track and optimize
A new channel is a test, not a promise. So before the start we agree what counts as success and when we stop.
First check my current ads- Step 1
Are your customers there The audience, the format and whether the channel is available for your business. If it doesn’t fit, we say so before the start.
- Step 2
Tracking first The platform’s pixel or tag, consent where the law requires it, UTM tags and click IDs saved in the CRM.
- Step 3
A test with a stop rule We agree the test budget and its length in advance, with a rule: no leads by the agreed date, and we stop.
- Every week
Optimization Creatives, topics, audiences and bids. We switch off what brings no leads and move the budget to what does.
- Every month
One report The cost per lead from the new channel next to Google and Meta. The budget moves to where the customers come from.
What we don’t promise
- A new channel may not work for your business. That’s why the test has a budget and a stop date.
- We don’t promise cheaper clicks or a number of leads. We promise to track every lead and to stop what doesn’t work.
- You pay the ad spend
to each platform directly. The self-serve Telegram Ads account is paid in TON. - Platform rules change, so before the start we check the formats and the countries for your account again.
Minimum budget
We take on projects with a marketing budget from US$1,000 a month, across all channels. The test budget for a new channel is agreed before the start.

Didn’t find your answer? Ask in the form or on the contact page.
Can my small business advertise on ChatGPT?
Yes, in the US and Canada: we have run ChatGPT campaigns there. It suits services and products people ask an assistant about. Targeting works by conversation topics, country and platform, and in the US also by state, DMA or ZIP code, but not by age, gender or interests. We don’t promise results: we start with a test and judge it by the leads in your CRM.
How much do TikTok ads cost?
TikTok runs an auction, so the price depends on your audience, the season and how well your video holds attention. We don’t quote rates before a test. We take on projects with a marketing budget from US$1,000 a month, and you pay the ad spend to TikTok directly. The test budget for a new channel is agreed before the start.
Is Microsoft Advertising (Bing) worth it if I already run Google Ads?
It can be the simplest next step. Microsoft shows search ads on Bing, on partner sites such as Yahoo, AOL and DuckDuckGo, and in Copilot, which Google doesn’t cover. We start by importing your Google Ads campaigns, then track conversions with Microsoft’s UET tag, because Google’s tags don’t carry over. The test shows whether the leads cost what you can afford.
Do I need video for TikTok?
Yes. TikTok ads are vertical 9:16 videos, so the offer has to work in 15 to 30 seconds of video. We plan the scripts with you, or adapt videos that already work in Reels on Facebook and Instagram. Without video, we suggest starting with another channel.
Who owns the ad accounts?
You do. The ad accounts for ChatGPT, TikTok, Telegram and Microsoft Advertising are in your business’s name, and you pay the platforms directly. For TikTok this is a must: the account has to be registered to your US or Canadian business to show ads in those countries. We manage the accounts with the access you grant.
Which channel should I start with?
Usually with Google Ads or Meta ads. We add a new channel when the main campaigns already bring leads and the tracking shows every lead with its source. Then the cost per lead from the new channel has something to compare with.
